This course targets medical professionals who are new to treating patients with tick-borne infections, or would like a refresher course on the fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment. This course is also an excellent primer for nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are practicing in the offices of Lyme literate physicians.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint sponsorship of Westchester Academy of Medicine and International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society. The Westchester Academy of Medicine is accredited by MSSNY to provide continuing Medical Education for physicians.
The Westchester Academy of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.50 AMA PRA Category I Credits TM. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The Westchester Academy of Medicine adheres to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of continuing medical education. All speakers participating in Continuing Medical Education activities are expected to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest related to the content of their presentations.

The 2015 ILADS Lyme Disease Fundamentals is a one day intensive course. It features internationally known experts in the field. The meeting features dinner speakers on Friday night who are reknown tick experts based in Alberta. Saturday's agenda is a practical instructional course.
