About The ILADS Lyme Disease Conference
The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) is firmly established as the only professional society dedicated exclusively to the diagnoses and treatment of these conditions.
As the controversy over Lyme disease dominates the news, professionals have learned and deployed new strategies to fundamentally improve patient care. As the numbers of Lyme disease grows, we anticipate a growing demand for expertise in Lyme disease for every specialty
ILADS brings professionals together every year to examine the cutting edge research and state-of-the-art clinical applications. ILADS conference faculty trains the next generation of physician-scientists who will be future leaders in the treatment of Lyme and Associated diseases. This year's Lyme Disease Professional Conference was held on October 24-25, 2009 at the Gaylord National Resort in Washington, D.C.
ILADS 10th professional conference was an overwhelming success. There were 50% more professionals in attendance. There were a record number of researchers from leading universities at the conference. ILADS announced that more than 100 trainees had competed its ever popular Turn the Corner Foundation/ILADS Physician Training program. ILADS congratulated its members who submitted exhaustive oral and written evidence based arguments before the July 2009 IDSA hearing in Washington.
The conference materials from its 45 faculty and 280 pages of written evidence submitted to the IDSA hearing are available on a searchable CD-ROM. Click on the button above to order your CD-ROM.
