Paris, the City of Light and love, is home to world-class food, historical monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, and incomparable culture.
ILADS invites you to join us in Paris, France during our 7th European Conference, Friday May 19th and Saturday May 20th, 2017. The event will take place at the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel.
This conference is geared towards medical professionals who have a particular interest in learning more about the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases. Registrants will also hear about more advanced research and treatment protocols in the area of tick-borne illnesses.
Day One registrants may choose from one of two tracks. Option one is our Lyme Basics Course in Tick-Borne Diseases. This track is an excellent introduction or refresher on basic diagnosis and treatment protocols. The second option for registrants on Friday is the Scientific Session track focusing on cutting edge topics.
On Day Two, Saturday, May 20, the Scientific Session continues. Those who attended the Friday Lyme Basics Course may register for this session as well.
We are excited to introduce Dr. Christian Perronne, of the University of Paris as the organizer of the scientific conference on behalf of ILADS. In addition, Pol De Saedeleer, PharmD from Belgium will be overseeing the entire conference. He has planned a few cultural opportunities for your and your family to enjoy after the meetings. These include a typical French Bistro on Friday, a Bateau Mouche boat ride with finger food on Saturday, and a tour of Versailles on Sunday.

Delegates can register online for the conference, using a secure credit or debit card through PayPal.
The registration fee (in Euros below) includes access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, lunch, tea and coffee. All lectures are in English and will be simultaneously translated to French.

ILADS reserves the right to dismiss any registrant without cause at the discretion of the Program Chair or the ILADS staff person in charge. No refunds will be given.
After registration and receipts of payment delegates will be sent an email confirmation, which should be printed out and brought to the conference registration desk.

Friday Evening Social

Join fellow registrants and friends for dinner at a typical French bistro. Au Petit Riche is a symbol of Parisian gastronomic history. Enjoy a beautiful 3-course meal of green lentil salad, pike quenelle with crustacean sauce, and iced nougat with red fruit coulis. Wine, water and coffee included. Seating is limited, reservations and pre-payment required.
Saturday Evening Social
Bateau Mouche on the River Seine

The evening includes a scenic tour of Paris aboard the world famous Bateau Mouche tour boats along the Seine River. The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and other world famous views are included. The fee includes one drink and finger food. Included are metro tickets to travel to and from the venue. Volunteers will be leading the group so French newbies should not be intimidated. Due to limited spaces, prior reservations are required.
Day Trip to Versailles

ILADS has hired a bus to take ILADS registrants and friends on a guided day trip to a work famous palace, Chateau du Versailles, in the Parisian suburbs. Listed for the past 30 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Palace of Versailles constitutes one of the finest achievements of French art of the 17th century. The former hunting lodge of Louis XIII was transformed and extended by his son Louis XIV who installed here the Court and the government of France in 1682. The Palace of Versailles is one of the most visited cultural sites in the world today. Price includes a French or English speaking guide.
