Please join us November 4-6, 2016 for the ILADS Annual Scientific Conference at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel. The theme this year is Lyme Disease: An Evolving Paradigm for Chronic Illness.

The meeting will be preceded by a Thursday, November 3, 2016, pre-conference workshop, Lyme Fundamentals. This one-day workshop is geared toward practitioners who are new to tick-borne disease diagnosis and treatment or would like a refresher course to hone their skills. We recommend it for everyone.

The Scientific Session will start off each day with plenary sessions followed by several afternoon breakout sessions. The breakout sessions are more informal than the plenary sessions; time is allotted for attendees to interact with the speakers in a more casual environment. Topics include: Emerging Concepts and Research, Laboratory Testing, Integrative Medicine, Pediatric Tick-Borne Disease, Morgellons, Beyond Basics and Case Discussions.

Exhibitors will be on-site displaying their latest products from Thursday – Sunday. They will be showcasing products and services relevant to the practitioners of tick-borne diseases.

On Friday night, November 4th, join the ILAD Educational Foundation at its Pioneer Award dinner. This year’s honoree is Joseph J. Burrascano, Jr., MD. For many, he embodies the Pioneer spirit which led to the founding of ILADS. Join us in honoring his legacy by signing up for this intimate dinner. There will be special entertainment that night. This is a special event on our Conference calendar.

Sunday is a half-day program with only a plenary session. This session features a popular panel of experts who return to this event specifically to address the most pressing concerns and questions in the field of Lyme. This is a time to have your residual clinical questions answered.

In addition, the 2016 John Drulle Awardee will be presented at this session. This is a special award given in memory of one of ILADS first members, John Drulle, MD who as a clinician always went the extra mile for his patients. Fellow New Jersey physician, Robert C. Bransfield, MD the 2016 awardee, has helped patients throughout the years who have endured psychiatric symptoms from tick-borne illness.

We highly recommend that you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. We think this meeting will be our most popular ever. Please note that the hotel rooms are limited and conference registration rates increase after Labor Day.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the upcoming meeting. We look forward to personally welcoming you there.
