As a long time victim of Lyme Disease and one who endures the multiple manifestations of chronic infection of LD, I was hoping for a more professional host for this program. This is a not a disease that should be alloted to Woman's Day spokespeople and be given the pitiful coverage that I just listened to. This broadcast was beautifully tailored to the continued myth of Lyme as a short range quick bite illness.

The general public not afflicted with the long term and frustratingly multifaceted effects of this tick bite remains unsuspecting to the political and medical subterfuge that I have witnessed and been subjected to. One must experience this disease and see the patient and family endure the vast symptoms and ongoing debilitation of denied treatment.

This is simply encouraging the medical ignorants to perpetuate denial and misinformation of proper extenuated treatment.

This sort of broadcast limits the knowledge for the public and keeps the public in the dark as has been the case in the thirty years that I have had this horrid disease. I am continually ill and although able to do simple chores, I relapse rapidly without my antibiotics. Once on them, I am able to come around to perform routine yet simple tasks. I am now 62 years old and have lost too many years of wonderful healthy productivity with family and children due to limited and purposefully mis/uninformed medical practices.

Thanks Sue I won't bother wasting my time listening to the regurgitations of
IDSA & ALDF. Although Dr. Bransfield is one of the good guys from ILADS.
