ILADS European Scientific Conference

We are excited to announce plans to host the next ILADS European Scientific Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, May 1-3, 2025. Our program will focus on the One Health concept, integrating a variety of medical specialties involved in the treatment of Lyme and tick-borne illnesses. Registration will open in late January. We hope you will join us!

This conference is geared towards medical professionals who have a particular interest in learning more about the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases. Information on advanced research and treatment protocols related to tick-borne illnesses will also be presented.

Program Highlights Include:

  • Thursday, May 1: Half day program featuring newly-created European Vector-Borne Illness Fundamentals course
  • Full day Friday and Saturday of scientific presentations covering various aspects of Lyme and tick-borne Illnesses
  • Evening social events and networking opportunities with physician leaders from around the globe
  • Exhibitors showcasing medical services

The conference is intended for medical professionals including MDs, DOs, NDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, PhDs, researchers and other professionals assisting patients with Lyme and related diseases.

Speaking Opportunities
If you are interested in speaking at the conference, please complete the online abstract form at the link below. We are requesting abstracts for presentations that are founded in science (with supporting data), present novel information, and have clinical or epidemiological value. The 2025 ILADS European Scientific Conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon. Strategically located just minutes from the stunning beaches and close to the vibrant city of Lisbon, the Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon offers the ideal haven for both relaxation and work. The hotel has seven conference rooms, a Wellness Center complete with a heated swimming pool, a fully equipped gym and a golf course.

Registration fee includes all programming, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a welcome reception and dinner Thursday evening. 
*Euro fees are for informational purposes only. You will be charged in US Dollars. All rates are set on the day the transaction is made. Rates expire at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET)

Conference Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of your conference registration does not constitute a cancellation of your hotel room. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel your hotel reservation.

Refunds of registration fees will be as follows:

  • If requested within 24 hours of your payment, 100% of the registration fees paid will be refunded, minus a $75 processing fee.
  • If requested on or before March 1, 2025, 80% of your registration fee will be refunded.
  • NO refunds will be issued on requests received after March 1, 2025.
  • Refunds will NOT be provided to registrants who are “no shows,” whether due to weather or otherwise.
    Requests for refunds must be in writing and sent to conference@ilads.org.
  • The amount of the refund will be credited back to you using the method of payment that you used to register for the Conference. You will bear the cost of any bank charge, vendor fee, and other transaction fee for any refund made by a method of payment other than credit card.
  • No refunds will be given on any additional fees or discounts applied to your Conference registration fee or other service fees.
  • No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
    Refunds may take up to 20 days to process after a refund is approved.
