Meet the Panelists
Dr. Eboni Cornish, MD
Dr. Eboni Cornish graduated from Brown University and Brown University Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency at Georgetown University. In 2003, as a Howard Hughes Medical Fellow, Dr. Cornish conducted translational research at the National Human Genome Research Institute of NIH. She was an apprentice in the laboratory of Francis Collins, M.D Ph.D., the current Director of NIH and leader of the Human Genome Project. Under his leadership, she analyzed genetic associations of chronic illnesses. Dr. Cornish specializes in the treatment of Lyme Disease, environmental toxicity, methylation disorders, and Morgellons Disease among other chronic conditions. Dr. Cornish is the Functional Medicine Director for Amen Clinics Eastern Division.
Dr. Chris Winfrey, MD
Dr. Chris Winfrey is a psychiatrist and owner and medical director of New Image Wellness in New Jersey. His clinical interests are neuropsychiatric conditions from a whole body perspective. Dr. Winfrey completed his undergraduate education at the University of Central Arkansas. He completed his medical education at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences(UAMS), College of Medicine, in May 2011 where he received his Medical Degree (M.D.). After completing his medical training, he finished his residency training in the specialty of psychiatry at the University of Texas at Southwestern and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. During his residency, he held significant positions: Associate Chief Resident of Education and Patient Safety Committee. Dr. Winfrey specializes in the psychiatric treatment of Lyme and tick-borne disease.
Nicole Bell
Nicole Bell is an author, entrepreneur, and advocate for tick-borne and neurodegenerative diseases. Her memoir,What Lurks in the Woods, details her husband's harrowing experience with misdiagnosed tick-borne illness and seeks to help others navigate chronic conditions. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Nicole earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Nicole is currently the CEO of Galaxy Diagnostics, where she combines her professional experience with her passion to change the tick-borne disease landscape. Galaxy’s mission is to create a new diagnostic standard of care for tick-borne diseases and save millions of people from descending into chronic illness.
