The 2020 ILADS Annual Conference will now be a fully online / virtual event. – If you made hotel reservations for the conference in Washington DC, please remember to cancel them.

Please join us for the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) 21st Annual Conference. This year’s conference will be held online on September 10-13, 2020.

What is One Health?

The theme of this year's conference is ONE HEALTH LYME – The intersection of Lyme and COVID.

The One Health Commission provides the following broad definition of One Health:

One Health is a collaborative, multisectoral, and trans-disciplinary approach - working at local, regional, national, and global levels - to achieve optimal health and well-being outcomes recognizing the interconnections between people, animals, plants and their shared environment.

2020 ILADS Annual Conference (Online)

ONE HEALTH LYME – The intersection of Lyme and COVID

ILADS welcomes the submission of abstracts by persons interested in presenting at an upcoming ILADS conference. Once submitted, ILADS’ Program Committee will evaluate the abstract based on evidence-based medicine and research.

Submissions will be accepted until June 1, 2020.

The conference theme is One Health Lyme - The intersection of Lyme and COVID.

GUIDELINES

All prospective speakers, including invited speakers, are required to submit structured abstracts of their proposed presentations. Prospective poster presenters are also encouraged to submit structured abstracts.

Please see our guidelines on how to write a structured abstract, which includes an example of a structured abstract.

Prospective speakers also will be required to submit 2-3 Learning Objectives.

Please have the following items ready before submitting your abstract.

  • (*) Abstract (Please follow structured abstract format and limit to 400 words. Diagrams may be included.)
  • (*) Learning Objectives
  • (*) CV
  • (*) Short biography (Please limit to 100 words and include information on educational credentials, current title/position, and current work focus.)
  • Head shot
  • (*) Disclosure of Relevant Financial Relationships (RFR)
  • (*) Speaker Release
