The controversy over the existence of chronic Lyme disease and the best methods for treating it continues. In June 2017, a group of doctors published a MMWR report about possible risks of long-term antibiotics in treating Lyme. ILADS Past President Samuel Shor published a response on PubMed Commons to outline ILADS concerns with the methodology and conclusions of the report.
